Custom Tube and Manufacturing, Inc. is a family-owned business with a rich heritage spanning over four decades in the metal forming and specialty tubing industry. Founded in 1976 as R&D Machine Company by Robert Galli, a pioneer in metal forming, the company initially focused on innovative tubing solutions. In 1980, it rebranded as True Tube, Inc. and expanded its operations to a new facility, specializing in tapered wall tubes, notably fuel rod simulators for the nuclear power generation sector. This specialized manufacturing process was developed by Robert Galli himself, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and quality. After Robert’s retirement in 1992, leadership transitioned to his son Richard Galli and his sister, marking the beginning of a new era of growth and diversification. Under Richard’s guidance, the company evolved into Custom Tube and Manufacturing Incorporated, broadening its capabilities to include custom-shaped tubing and larger diameter tubes. Today, the company operates out of a 9,500 square foot facility that houses its tube drawing department, machine shop, gundrilling department, and fabrication services. As a third-generation family business, Custom Tube and Manufacturing continues to leverage its extensive experience and technical expertise to deliver high-quality tubing and machined products tailored to meet the specific needs of its customers across various industries.
