Start Your Search NowBIMAC is a distinguished manufacturer specializing in precision investment castings and ceramic mold castings, serving a diverse array of industries since its founding in 1959. Based in Dayton, Ohio, the company has established itself as a premier source in the Midwest for Osborn-Shaw process ceramic castings and precision lost-wax investment castings. BIMAC's product portfolio includes complex castings made from over 100 different metals, with individual component weights of up to 300 pounds, tailored for machinery components across multiple sectors including automotive, oil & gas, glass, paper, medical, and food industries. The company’s origins trace back to two visionary founders, Dr. William Schneble and Dr. Clyde McQuiston, who combined their expertise in chemistry, metallurgy, aeronautical engineering, and foundry practices to pioneer innovative casting processes in the United States. BIMAC was an early adopter of the ceramic mold process, licensed from the Shaw Corporation, which was originally patented in England in the 1930s. This innovation positioned BIMAC at the forefront of precision casting technology. Over the decades, BIMAC expanded its manufacturing capabilities and facilities to meet growing demand, including an expansion in 1980 to incorporate the investment casting lost-wax process. The company has continuously evolved, developing proprietary wear-resistant alloys in collaboration with local technical institutions such as Wright-State University. These advanced materials serve highly abrasive and specialized applications in industries like electronics, recycling, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and corrosion-resistant pumping. In 2017, BIMAC was acquired by Ventoux Industrial Holdings, which brought a strategic focus on technological advancement, automation, and sustained customer value. Today, BIMAC operates as a one-stop shop offering comprehensive in-house services, including rapid prototyping, consulting, research and development, and manufacturing of high-quality durable precision castings. The company prides itself on its long-standing reputation, industry memberships, and commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, celebrating over 60 years as a vital contributor to Dayton’s historic manufacturing region.
